Within AAMGI we have a team of anesthesiologists dedicated to the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care of patients undergoing heart surgery.
These individuals have specialized training including fellowships, certifications and continuing education in advanced manipulations of physiology, applications of pharmacology, resuscitative techniques and advanced monitoring in cardiac anesthesia. They work closely with the cardiac surgeons and cardiologists to provide anesthesia for all types of cardiac procedures including minimally invasive cardiac surgery, thoracic aortic surgery, bypass surgery and complicated electrophysiologic cardiology procedures.
